ISBX Launches Interactive HTML 5 App for TBS

For the new television show Sullivan & Son (Thursdays at 10/9C), ISBX created an HTML 5 app for TBS (Click here to check out the App). In the past these types of games and apps would have been built in Adobe Flash, but as mobile and web converge together Adobe Flash is becoming less relevant. The fact that Adobe is stopping mobile Flash support says it all (Adobe's Blog Post).

CBS 12 and iTunes Recognize ISBX’s Build-a-Card App!

We got an email from Craig Agranoff of CBS12 over the weekend expressing interest in our Build-A-Card: Cupid Edition App.  We were simultaneously being featured on iTunes as well (our 8th time one of our apps was featured on iTunes), so that was probably how we got on his radar.  We did a few emails back and forth, and apparently he was impressed enough to feature our application at the top of the CBS12 Valentine’s Day special segment on the 13th of February.

Case Study: Android Surge

Case Study: Android Surge

This year we put an emphasis on Android. First with the Picturizr Android version launched in March, which saw a 5x increase in user traffic over iOS. Second, we launched FaceSmash for Android in May and saw a 3x increase in user traffic. We attribute the surge in traffic due to Android now having a larger user penetration over iOS as well as the large young demographic that have Android smartphones over iOS devices.
Update: FaceSmash on the App Store and Android Market

Update: FaceSmash on the App Store and Android Market

Leveraging our successful Picturizr photo manipulation platform we created a fun social game allowing friends to challenge each other through a face smashing mobile app.  The app allows you to take a photo and using the touch screen combined with the shake gesture of the iPhone to launch punches causing various image distortion effects. Face smashing effects depend on how fast you swipe your fingers across the screen and how hard you shake the phone.
